Traditional Craftsmen Homes was founded by Corky Miller, a 20 year veteran to the trade. He lives where he works and he works where he lives. His wife’s family has been a part of the Oak Island, Texas, community for the last 4 decades. Their house was one of only a few that survived hurricane Ike. 

After hurricane Ike’s destruction, Corky invited his longtime friend and custom home builder, Steve Burkhart, a successful builder from Arizona, to join him in helping rebuild the communities devastated by Ike. Steve brings over 30 years of construction experience to Traditional Craftsmen homes.
