Traditional Craftsmen Homes was founded by Corky Miller, a 20 plus year veteran to the trade. He lives where he works and he works where he lives. His wife’s family has been a part of the Oak Island, Texas, community for the last 4 decades. Their house was one of only a few that survived hurricane Ike. 

After hurricane Ike’s destruction, Corky invited his longtime friend and custom home builder, Steve Burkhart, a successful builder from Arizona, to join him in helping rebuild the communities devastated by Ike. Steve brings over 30 years of construction experience to traditional craftsmen homes and now makes Crystal Beach his home..
